Inspired by the intimacy of seventeenth-century paintings of the Dutch Masters, model and artist  Marte Mei van Haaster embodies a dialogue between nostalgia and modernity.

Historical references appear throughout as subtle gestures; traditional objects, ornaments and silhouettes reimagined through a modern lens.

Rooted in restraint and simplicity, the imagery reflects a quiet confidence. A homage to the enduring character of Dutch craftsmanship and cultural memory.
